Organisers of Saturday's Great Edinburgh International cross- country race are to complain to the Home Office after two of the world's top athletes were forced to sleep on a floor at Heathrow Airport because they were delayed en-route to Scotland.
Tirunesh and Ejagayehu Dibaba, sisters from Ethiopia, had not eaten for 26 hours when they finally took part in the event.
