If Edinburgh can put up a statue to Sherlock Holmes, Auchermuchty a wonderful statue to Jimmy Shand, while Dundee has its Desperate Dan, will the Glasgow city fathers put up a statue to a great pair who entertained for so many years all Scots to the unique Glasgow humour?
