THREE campaigners who launched legal attempts to have their convictions quashed for breach of the peace during anti-nuclear demonstrations have had their appeals refused.

The activists were found guilty of the public order offence during protests at the Scottish Parliament and at the Faslane nuclear base on the Clyde between 1999 and 2002.
