Summary
IT IS disappointing when three official bodies - the National Galleries of Scotland, the Scottish Arts Council and the British Council - are economical with the truth. When they wilfully misrepresent, it has to be pointed out and put right. In 1990, Scotland was officially invited to be part of the Venice Biennale in celebration of Glasgow European City of Culture.
