SCOTTISH mining specialist ATH Resources said yesterday it was planning to launch an open share offer designed to raise pounds- 16.8m to fund the acquisition of two opencast facilities in East Ayrshire.
The firm, which is based south of the border in Doncaster, said the sites at Grievehill and Glenmuckloch contained an estimated 4.1 million tonnes of proven and probable reserves of coal. The mines are currently owned by the Scottish Coal Company.See the full content of this document
