Summary
I was disappointed to read 'Lennon blasts clubs for not competing' (Herald Sport, May 9). I found no evidence of a 'blast' in the quotes attributed to Neil Lennon. Indeed, in one he said clearly that he did not want to "cast aspersions on other clubs".
The facts were plain: Rangers had scored nine goals in their previous two games without reply. This undoubtedly had as much to do with Rangers' excellent form as it did with the way in which the opposition played against them, but can it be denied that a team which loses five goals without getting close to a reply have "given Rangers a game"?See the full content of this document
