AG BARR, the iconic Scottish soft drinks manufacturer, has spent more than pounds-300,000 to boost Irn-Bru's Russian market share in another twist to its "phenomenal" TV advertising theme - this time featuring a water polo team dive-bombing a group of synchronised swimmers.

"It's definitely a very silly ad, " said Jonathan Kemp, commercial director of AG Barr.
