The Scottish Dairy Cattle Association has had a major change of office bearers following its recent AGM. Taking over as chairman from George Templeton, Knowe, Auchinleck is Johnny Cousar, Howcommon Farm, Craigie. Cousar is a long-serving board member of Holstein UK and is currently in charge of Holstein national shows and sales.

After being secretary/treasurer since its inauguration 32 years ago Jack Lawson is giving up the post, but will still have responsibilities in the association. Taking over as voluntary secretary/treasurer is Janette Mathie, a regional manager with Cattle Information Services, who is well known to most Scottish dairy farmers.
