I WAS interested to read Dr John McCormack, chairman of the Scottish Association for Public Transport, claim that scrapping the Glasgow Airport Rail Link (GARL) would reduce Scotland's international standing (Letters, September 21). To justify that statement, he compared the Glasgow situation with that in various English cities.
Having returned to Scotland after more than a quarter of a century living in the London area, and now being a regular user of Glasgow Airport, I do not believe the comparisons are valid.See the full content of this document
