EDINBURGH yesterday cemented its position as one of the world's most popular destinations for convention after the city's Convention Bureau secured the International Society for Quality in Healthcare conference at the EICC on October 2013, which is expected to generate around pound(s)4 million for the Scottish capital.
At the same time, the city has been ranked in 29th position in the world by the International Congress and Convention Association, outperforming hundreds of competitors.
