A cellular telephone service opened in Aberdeen yesterday and will be available in Glasgow next month. Cellnet, a venture between British Telecom and Securicor, has attracted 15,000 subscribers in its first eight months of UK operation. It opened in Edinburgh earlier this month. It is anticipated that, by the end of the year, 30,000 people in Britain will be using the service.
