Summary
Losers can be winners in a reality TV world. Cher Lloyd only placed fourth in last year's X Factor, but she's already got a number one single (Swagger Jagger) under her sparkly belt and I wouldn't bet against this debut album outstripping sales of Matt Cardle's Letters in the long run.
At times on the show, our Little Britney came over as a bit of a brat, but here she convincingly fills a gap in the tweenie market and, offering up only 10 tracks in 33 minutes, the album matches the attention span of the text generation its song titles are aimed at (With Ur Love, Want U Back, Playa Boi). Her raps are exceptionally shallow from beginning to end ("the flow's so hot/like steam from a coffee pot"), especially when placed alongside the verbal work of a guest star such as Busta Rhymes on Grow Up.See the full content of this document
