PERHAPS unsurprisingly for a band who've disappeared from view of late, Sons and Daughters are hard to track down. Eventually, though, telephone problems are overcome and the Glasgow group's drummer, Dave Gow, is able to explain just where they've been for the past year.

"There's been various factors," he says. "Ailidh (Lennon, bass) has had a baby, and with a wee boy she's been pretty busy. We've all moved houses, and had various other things happening in Glasgow. And then we decided to take over Govan Town Hall and use it as our studio, where we could focus on writing rather than playing shows."
