THE owner of Heart and Galaxy radio stations yesterday offered signs of a trading revival after advertising revenues jumped 10per cent over the past two months.

The pick-up by Chrysalis Group emerged as it announced a sharp fall in halfyear profits to GBP1.4m from GBP4.3m a year earlier. That reflected a 4.6per cent drop in like-forlike advertising revenues for the six months to February 28, although since then the figure for March to May has raced ahead to exceed the market's forecast growth figure of 2per cent.
