A CLIMBER had to be airlifted to hospital after he was seriously injured in a 300ft fall in the Cairngorms yesterday.

The alarm was raised by two instructors with a party of four clients from Glenmore Lodge, Scotland's national outdoor training centre, after one of those being trained saw the man fall at the Great Slab in Coire an Lochain.
