CAMERON Clyne, chief executive of Clydesdale Bank's parent company National Australia Bank, yesterday remained tight-lipped on whether the company has made a bid for more than 300 branches of Royal Bank of Scotland.

It was reported that Clyne declined to comment on whether the bank is in the running for the portfolio. But he said the bank is looking at all options in the UK.
