ECONOMIC confidence is soaring among entrepreneurs who own their own businesses - although an increasing number believe times are getting tougher.

According to the latest survey by Bank of Scotland Business Banking, 82% of UK entrepreneurs believe the performance of their business will improve or stay the same over the next 12 months - a rise of 19% since March.
