Conflicts of Interest

Summary

ANENT the question of a "fatal conflict of interest" in the MMR- autism controversy (MMR row doctor wants an inquiry, February 23), the greater conflict of interest in this matter is when the same authorities promoting vaccination are also the ones monitoring the safety of vaccines. If that weren't the case, the responsible authorities would have recognised long ago that there are grave downsides to vaccines - especially the danger flagged by a mercury- containing ingredient in many of them.

That factor is only now coming to light. How long do we have to wait until a proper, independent investigation is made of many other claims of damage wrought by this modality, which has never been subjected to the long-term studies that should have been put in place upon the advent of mass vaccination programmes some 50 years ago? The chickens are now coming home to roost in this scandalous matter.
