A DAY after a record seven Scots were named in the Great Britain team for the European Cross-country Championships, scottishathletics had something further to celebrate yesterday, with confirmation of the renewal of the Stewarts Cross-country Grand Prix, writes Doug Gillon.

Tewoldeberhan Mengisteab of Shettleston won last year's men's title, while Edinburgh's Freya Murray, named in the GB team for Dublin, took the women's.
