JACK ROSS has never won at Pittodrie and believes he could not have picked a worse time to try and break his duck. As tough a prospect as facing Aberdeen on their own patch is, the Hamilton right-back insists getting a result is even more difficult on opening day.

"Pittodrie is not a happy hunting ground for me as I have never won up there with my previous clubs," said Ross, who signed for Billy Reid's team this summer after spells with St Mirren and Falkirk. "But Hamilton won twice at Aberdeen last season and I hope I can play a part in making it a hat trick while also ending my jinx.
