MORE Scots could have their cause of death wrongly recorded under reforms prompted by the case of Dr Harold Shipman, opponents have claimed.

The medical community has described Scottish Government proposals as "inadequate and unsafe" with concerns the new system could lead to a larger number of suicides, medical mishaps and industrial diseases going undetected, and families left in the dark about the true nature of their relative's death.
