DOUG Ross, one of the four-man consortium that bought the mothballed Tullibardine malt whisky distillery in Perthshire last year, has revealed the group is mulling plans to add a beer-brewing operation to the business.

While the idea is still in its infancy, the result would constitute just one more non-whisky string to the bow of these four entrepreneurs.
