Driving Routes Shake-Up to Make Tests 'Real'

Summary


DRIVING test routes will no longer be published online as part of an overhaul designed to make them more representative of real motoring, it was announced yesterday.

From October 4, learners will be required to drive for 10 minutes without step-by-step instructions from their examiner, relying instead on traffic signs, directions, or a route map.
