Summary
FINDINGS from the latest quarterly survey by the British Chambers of Commerce suggest economic activity in the UK improved modestly in the threemonth run-up to Christmas.
The survey said its reading on domestic manufacturing sales rose to a positive balance of 13per cent in the fourth quarter of last year, while domestic sales by services companies rose five points to 18per cent.
