GLASGOW'S bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games was given further momentum yesterday when Edinburgh axed its plans for a covered velodrome.
Subject to funding negotiation, Glasgowwill now build Scotland's first covered cycle arena instead. The city will then set about attracting further significant events, for that is seen as the key to unlocking the prize of the Commonwealth Games.See the full content of this document
