JUST about everyone I spoke to yesterday, including Rangers fans, found UEFA's decision to find the Ibrox supporters not guilty of sectarian chanting to be amazing. The one recurring theme in speaking to various parties last night was that everyone was generally flabbergasted.
At the BBC I was involved in a radio debate with David Edgar of the Rangers Supporters Trust. I must pay tribute to Mr Edgar, who was courteous, reasoned and insightful in his thoughts, and who refused to react to the UEFA judgment in any tub-thumping or gloating manner.
