Caledonian MacBrayne's ferries have been running flat out to make up for the disruption on services to Barra and South Uist at the weekend.

The ferry Clansman normally lies over in South Uist on Sunday nights but instead left Barra shortly after midnight yesterday, taking 270 passengers back to Oban following the Barra Fest music festival which attracted 1000 revellers on each of its two nights.
