LEST WE FORGET: A single cross dedicated to victims of terror attacks stands in the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey in London.

Hundreds of war veterans gathered yesterday in the abbey grounds to see the rows and rows of small, wooden crosses left as a mark of respect to Britain's fallen heroes. Each symbol bore the name of a lost loved one and a blood red poppy.
