CHILDREN are to be given lessons in the most basic social skills because parents are no longer teaching them how to behave.

Under the scheme, primary school pupils in Glasgow will be taught how to sit at a table, to eat in a group, to share with others, to say "please" and "thank you", and how to form basic relationships.
