COMPOSER Sally Beamish is no stranger to the world of screen music. Her compositions, written with a needle-sharp eye for detail, mood and atmosphere, have graced a range of projects for the large and small screens, including a huge orchestral score for the eight- part Writing Scotland series, a Tartan Short entitled No Man's Land, and the wonderfullytitled The Practicality of Magnolia, for which she won a Scottish Bafta.
