A MOTORIST carrying four children in a vehicle without seatbelts was fined GBP60 after being pulled over by police during a safety crackdown on parents on the "school run".
The incident was among 327 involving people who failed to strap in children to comply with the road safety laws during the second "seatbelt/speeding day of action" of the year on Thursday, run by the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland (Acpos) Involving every force in the country, police arrested 130 speeding drivers as they sought to reinforce the message that safety matters for motorists ferrying children to and from school.See the full content of this document
