SUPERMARKET giant Tesco and distiller Whyte & Mackay have been asked to re-appear before the Scottish Parliament's health committee to clarify the evidence they gave on Government plans for minimum pricing on alcohol.

John Beard, chief executive of Whyte & Mackay, will have to explain his claims that introducing a 50p per unit minimum price would lead to an estimated 300 job losses at the company on Wednesday.
