Donald Fisher has confirmed he was lining up a deal to sell his family's eponymous laundry and textile rental business, which experts believe could be worth as much as (pounds) 35m.

Following revelations in The Herald yesterday that Fisher, who is one of Scotland's wealthiest men, was in bid talks, the Fife businessman said he was discussing the possible sale of the company to a management buy-out team.
