Summary
Scotland used just 16 players in the 1990 grand slam campaign, in the era before tactical replacements were allowed. When Derek Turnbull came on for Derek White after 30 minutes against England, it was the first time Scotland had brought a player off the bench. Those denied a shot at glory were:
