Gbp20m for Aircraft Medical Expansion

MATT McGrath, the founder and chief executive of Aircraft Medical, has revealed that the Scottish medical device company has earmarked GBP20m to drive forward its expansion strategy and he added that the firm had already recruited 25 employees since the beginning of the year.

McGrath, in a telephone interview with The Herald, said his Edinburgh-based company would invest around GBP10m in its anaesthesia and critical care offering, following the acquisition last year of Barcelona-based Morpheus Medical, a developer of consciousness-monitoring technology.
