England followed on 466 runs behind in Antigua despite an unbeaten century from Andrew Flintoff, but, with the openers battling through to the close, they can save the match today.

The second innings should have begun disastrously when Marcus Trescothick gloved one from Tino Best to the wicketkeeper before he had scored but was not given out. The West Indians looked tired when they bowled again as they could not move the ball through the air or off the pitch, while the wicket held together and Pedro Collins struggled with a sore back.
