WATER WORKS: The world's largest terracotta fountain was switched on yesterday for the first time in more than 40 years.

Water flowed back into the Doulton Fountain in Glasgow after a [pounds]3.75m restoration project. The 46ft high and 70ft wide structure, built by Sir Henry Doulton in 1888, has been painstakingly rebuilt from original pictures outside the People's Palace in Glasgow Green.
