DONNA FRASER has served a wake-up call on Scotland's European and Commonwealth 400 metres medallist Lee McConnell.
In the past 10 days, racing over 400m for the first time in three years, the 31-year-old Fraser has comprehensively demonstrated recovery from career-threatening injury with two victories. On Saturday, she clocked 51.49 seconds, a time beaten last year only by Glasgow's McConnell, who topped the UK rankings with 51.06.
