NORMAN Kember, the freed British hostage, was on his way home from Iraq last night.

Mr Kember, 74, left the British Embassy in Baghdad where he had been taken after his rescue. He was flown in a military plane from Baghdad to Kuwait and is expected to arrive back in London on a commercial flight today.
