25 years ago

Fears of a connection between leukaemia causes among young people in Scotland and proximity to nuclear installations were strengthened yesterday by the findings of a Scottish Office study. The study for the public inquiry at Dounreay into the processed nuclear waste reprocessing plant dismissed the theory that leukaemia occurred in "natural" clusters.
