SCOTLAND'S manufacturing sector appeared to bounce back from a rough half-year during the final months of 2004, with fewer firms working below capacity than at any time for nearly 40 years.
As opposed to the rather dire findings from UK manufacturers as a whole, total new orders north of the border picked up strongly during the three months to January.
