A SOLDIER in Belarus adjusts a coffin containing the remains of German troops killed during the Second World War in a re-burial ceremony near the village of Shchatkovo, 140km south-east of Minsk.

The remains of 923 German soldiers killed in Belarus were due to be buried at the German war cemetery yesterday.
