A FAMILY of Kurdish asylum-seekers from Turkey who were detained in Scotland for more than a year have had their application to remain in Germany rejected.
The decision means the Ay children - Beriwan, 15, Newroz, 14, Dilovan, 12, and Medya, eight - will be sent "home" to a country in which they have never set foot and where, according to human rights organisations, Kurds still face abuse, repression, and denial of their culture.See the full content of this document
