A GIANT wooden spiral with an array of flying geese has been chosen to mark the gateway to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.

Judges announced yesterday they had picked the Timber Crown from a shortlist of 10 designs to be built on the Stoneymollan Roundabout, on the A82 at Balloch in Dunbartonshire.
