THE managing director of Gleneagles hotel and golf resort revealed another hike in profits yesterday, and predicted that future growth will be fuelled by visitors attracted by the proliferation of air routes to Scotland.

Peter Lederer, who also chairs VisitScotland, cited Moscow, Prague and Dubai as especially promising. New direct routes to all three destinations have opened within the last few months.
