A LEADING Tory has insisted Annabel Goldie will not be a lame duck going into next year's Holyrood elections, despite a damning internal report into the party's performance.

It called for the replacement of "the weak leadership and governance framework with a streamlined, transparent and accountable structure" and said a Scottish leadership election should take place directly after the Scottish Parliament elections in May.
