GOVERNMENT officials have condemned environmental campaigners for scaling a Scottish oil company's exploration rig and warned them they could face legal action.

The administration in Greenland described the Greenpeace action as illegal and anti- democratic and said police may be asked to remove the pro-testers once the Cairn Energy platform reaches its location.
