Edinburgh 0 Munster 11 After his side suffered a second shut-out in five matches Frank Hadden, Edinburgh's coach, lashed his senior players for the way they allowed Munster to ease towards the top of the Celtic League at Murrayfield last night.

He had clearly expected much more following last week's surprise win at Newport Gwent Dragons and was shocked by this inept display, taking solace only from the performance of his youngsters, while offering praise to Ben MacDougall, their controversial signing, for his directness when introduced for his debut during the second half.
