AROUND 2000 staff at Aberdeen City Council are to be offered an average of GBP6000 each in an attempt to avert strike action later this week.
The local authority yesterday approved a GBP13.5m offer to trade unions dealing with single status, job evaluation and modernisation of terms and conditions.
