RANGERS last night revealed a joint venture with the Chinese Super League club, Shenzhen Jianlibao, which they hope will promote youth development and raise funds by tapping into the Asian market.

The predominantly commercial venture was confirmed by the club chairman, John McClelland, at a news conference in China. It is designed to succeed where their feeder club link with the Australian club, Northern Spirit, failed.
